Antarctica Quartet

How do you visualize change?  Diane Burko takes up the challenge in Antarctica Quartet.

On a visit to Antarctica near at the bottom of the world, she observed firsthand the devastating workings of climate change, the unstoppable melting of glaciers, and the calving of icebergs.  Our first response to these white, blue, and grey landscapes is to admire their beauty, and only then do we realize the artist is bearing witness to a world in the process of breaking up.
